Barry O’Farrell joins Young Libs to kick off Victoria Road Campaign |
NSW State Liberal Leader, Barry O’Farrell, joined the NSW Young Liberal President, Scott Farlow, Campaigns Director Simon Fontana, and local Young Liberals to launch a joint campaign to highlight traffic congestion on Victoria Road at Drummoyne today. As part of the campaign Young Liberals will be out in the traffic calling on local residents to start the change and sign the petition against the State Labor Government’s flawed Victoria Road traffic policies online at www.startthechange.com.au.

“The State Labor Government has failed to do anything to ease traffic on Victoria Road over the last four years,” Mr O’Farrell said.
“Under Labor, traffic on the already congested Victoria Road has become even slower, falling from an average 29km/h in 2004 to 23/km/h in 2008 during peak hour,” he said. |
